An overview of Transfer Snowboard Magazine’s Instagram handle. As part of my role as Editor of Transfer, I would assume the role of managing both the Facebook and Instagram channels. The goal here was to establish a unique voice that offered a point-of-difference when stacked against those accounts with a bigger presence. Transfer’s Instagram was more concerned with connecting to a loyal following, that sought to engage frequently with each post than to build just its numbers game. By using every function of Instagram like stories, to live uploads, video and the swiping function we’ve built up a following made of snowboarding’s most respected authorities along with a loyal audience that celebrates each post.
Transfer’s Instagram is comprised largely of unique content, promotional material, native advertising, archival posts and news within the snowboard world, but all with a unique voice that has become well-respected within the industry.
