Role: Creative Director / Graphic Designer / Marketing Coordinator
Output: Planning & curating / Writing / Directing & designing / promoting / budgeting
Client: 3CS Outerwear
Period: 2016-2017

During my 2 year stint at 3CS Outerwear during 2015 to 2016, I worked a combined role as the Creative Director and Marketing Coordinator, crossing-over my background in design and my experience in marketing. During this time I directed and produced a wide range of marketing collateral from campaigns to collaborations, created brand assets, completed web-builds which handled real-time warehouse inventory and built comprehensive catalogs while managing human resources, like the international snowboard team which boasted Olympic Athletes and household names. This was all done within a strict, grassroots budget which demanded resourcefulness, persistence, and dedication.
The ‘Reclaim the Streets’ Campaign was just a fragment of the 2016/17 marketing program I'd created. In this case, legendary snowboarder and team rider Heikki Sorsa was put at the forefront, as the protagonist behind a street-inspired aesthetic which fused snowboarding’s past, present and future – all the underpinning goal to empower those devotees who uphold the mantra ‘by any means necessary’. This successfully reconnected a collection with an audience which had only been marginally acknowledged, and through this, interest and sales of this category alone where undeniably bolstered.
Working closely with 3CS’s in-house product designer, I advised, facilitated and had a part in creating 2 full winter ranges with over 40 styles, and 120+ items along with 2 entire soft goods collections. During this time my skill set in textile design and tech-packing was expedited, looking after both men and women's garments, alongside their technical and fashion functions. These products are distributed all over the world and can be found in Canada to Korea.
As part of my role, and the brands legacy – I spearheaded multiple collaborations for both the 2016 and 2017 collections. The soon-to-be-released collaboration with the legendary Vancouver Skateboarding brand RDS Apparel and last years capsule collection with the infamous Mad Hueys. From conceptualising to creating proposals, liaising and project managing along with design and illustration – I've built and managed these collaborations from the ground up.
From weekly creating and dispatching weekly EDM newsletters to 3CS’ global database to accomodating custom assets for distributors and retailers, I produced the entirety of 3CS’ brand collateral between 2015 and 2016 – including responsive banner ads.
